Anzac work


what- Anzac day and all of the Anzac stories
why-  so I can learn about the Anzac's.
learnt- I learned that in harry's war he went to England to carve a kiwi on the hill side 
liked- I liked the story grandad marches on ANZAC day because the little girl talks about her grandad and all of his medals and what he looks like.
something wondering- I wonder if simpson is actually the donkeys name or if it is bahadur.

ICE SKATING

ICE SKATING

                                                                 Ice skating is a fun activity 
                                                                            but it can be really difficult.
                                                                                     The things you need is ice skates,
                                                                            a helmet and gloves.
                                                                            You also need confidence,
                                                                                     I started off with a chair then when I got use to it
   I did it without a chair I fell off a
      couple of times but I got back up and tried  again.I really enjoyed ice skating

Thursday
On thursday I was way better then
wednesday because
I didn't even fall over once.
when I first started i fell over
so many times I didn't want to do it but
its so fun when you keep trying and trying
over and over again and robin gave us
some awesome tips to staying balanced and not falling over, he even gave us tips on how to glide on the fake Ice

Anzac Biscuits




RECIPE Annabel Langbein's
Anzac biscuit
Prep time:      10 mins
Cook time:     20-25 mins Makes:about 30

Tips

Tip: If you don't have golden syrup you can use honey or maple syrup instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole grain rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup thread coconut
  • 1 cup soft brown sugar
  • ¼ cup golden syrup
  • 125g butter
  • 2 tbsp boiling water
  • ½ tsp baking soda

steps


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C fan bake and line 2 oven trays with baking paper for easy clean-up.
  2. Combine rolled oats, flour, coconut and sugar in a large bowl. Heat together golden syrup, butter and boiling water until butter melts.
  3. Stir in soda, then mix into dry ingredients until well combined.
  4. Roll the dough into balls and squish them down with a fork
  5. Put them on the trays then put them in the oven when ready

Goals of the week

Here are my goals for Term 1. Each week we have a different quote to reflect on all of the quotes are from dr seuss books or he came up with them.
We do our goals every monday and in our goals we have to reflecting on the quote and what it means to us,we also have learning goals behaviour goals and social goals. The last thing we have is what we did last week and reflecting on the goals from last week or the previous goals.
